Thad M. Shelton - President

Thad M. Shelton, “Chin” was born in the small farming community of Fairmount, Indiana. Chin has 18 years of military flight experience and has accumulated over 5000 flight hours. He has been flying the F/A-18 hornet for over 16 years and is currently flying as an adversary instructor pilot, teaching the next generation about threat tactics of foreign air forces. His professional background includes:
• Substantial detachment flying throughout Europe, Middle East, North Africa and the United States. Operational Participation in both the Bosnian and Iraqi theaters. Two operational cruises on the USS George Washington while deploying with Carrier Air Wing Seven. International participation at the Fighter Weapons Instructors Course with the Dutch, Belgian, English, Norwegian, and German Air forces. He also served as an F/A-18 instructor pilot, with the Marine Corps, in southern California at the “Sharpshooter’s” of VMFAT-101.
• Mr. Shelton holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and an MBA (2005) from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California.
• He is Vice President and acting board member of The Brett Bekken Foundation.
• Mr. Shelton is CEO and Co-founder of The RAZR Group LLC and G-Force Leadership.
• Larger clients include Oakley Inc. and Quiksilver Inc.
Mr. Shelton currently resides on Mercer Island, Washington with his lovely wife Karin, who just recently gave birth to twins this year.
