We enjoyed having Tom Mackie and Thad Shelton at Quiksilver for part of our recent Sales Meeting. Their backgrounds gave our team a glance at a role that demands the highest level of focus and responsibility. Hearing directly from two Navy/Marine Fighter pilots who understand what "prioritizing goals" really means was very beneficial to our sales force. As you know, the role of a Watch Commander is critical tor modem day law enforcement. The Watch Commander sets the tone tor the watch and manages any critical incident that may arise during the shift.
I personally reviewed each of the evaluations in regards to your presentation on Leadership, Combat Stress Control and the 5 Point Fusion Model and I noted comments such as, "This is some of the best training I've received in all of my years in law emorcement. I learned valuable information on how to manage combat stress" and "I realized that I set the tone for my team and how important it is to lead by example."
