The Brett Bekken Foundation
The Foundation is named for LtCol Brett M. Bekken USMC. He was killed on 21 April, 2004 when his F/A-18 Hornet crashed in the Southern California desert during a night bombing mission in support of ground Marines deploying for the Global War on Terror. Brett unselfishly gave his time and money to support a vast array of charities and charitable events. His friends, family, and comrades in arms wish to perpetuate this valiant effort thru this Foundation in his name. The organization is run solely by volunteers, thru G-Force Leadership.

April 20-21, 2007 marks the inaugural Brett Bekken Memorial Golf Tournament. A dinner and silent auction will be held at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Officer’s Club on the evening of 20 April. The golf tournament will be held at the Marine Memorial Golf Course on 21 April.
